When you pray in a group yeild to each other
Philippians 2:3-4 (NLT) Don’t be selfish; don’t try to impress others. Be humble, thinking of others as better than yourselves. Don’t look out only for your own interests, but take an interest in others, too.
I've often found in prayer gatherings that one of two vocal people pray for a century covering all the subjects under the sun, leaving everyone else high and dry.
Consider the following:
Don't worry if your subject didn't get covered, Father knows exactly what you need and by deferring it may just be a moment of delight for him.
So practice the art of deferring to each other in every time you have together. Cor 14 v 26: What then shall we say, brothers? When you come together, everyone has a hymn, or a word of instruction, a revelation, a tongue or an interpretation. All of these must be done for the strengthening of the church. The prayer of unity and agreement is based on each person not on the dominence of an individual.
